    Roman ruins

A few ruins remain of the old roman Mevania: the amphitheatre built in the II century a.d. along the via Flaminia. The remains of two semicircular ambulatories are visible. The church of the Madonna della Neve was built on the former Roman temple also built in II ad.

Of great importance are the ruins of the Roman baths consisting of 4 rooms. The frigidarium whose floor presents a mosaic representing scenes of marine life (tritons chasing squids and giant octopus and lobsters), is open for visits.
