18 years of research and innovation at Arnaldo Caprai

Published in 2007 in a special edition presented during Vinitaly, this book tells the story of the last 18 years of research and experimentation at Arnaldo Caprai.
In eighteen years we have developed research lines directed towards a deeper knowledge of soil and climate conditions, recovery and increase of value of Sagrantino’s genetic heritage, optimization of traditional training systems.

This knowledge heritage, acquired thanks to the collaboration with  Dipartimento di Produzione Vegetale dell’Università degli Studi di Milano, has allowed the Company to raise constantly the quality standards of production and to enrich the relationship with the territory interpreted as a value.

This book tells the steps that allowed us to revalue an ancient variety that 40 years ago, was close to disappear.
